Welch Bio-Beads S-X3 is a polystyrene gel column, dedicated as the cleanup column for sample pretreatment in the determination of certain organochlorine pesticide residues in medicinal materials, decoction pieces, and formulations, specified in 2015 Chinese Pharmacopoeia. This column may also be used for:

  • Determination of multi-residues of organochlorine pesticides in food (GB/T 5009.19-2008);
  • Separation of low-molecular-weight organic polymers and other hydrophobic substances such as insecticides, rodenticides, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) and unsaturated lipids;
  • Gel cleanup for the determination of Sudan dyes I, II, III and IV in food;
  • Determination of phthalates in food (GB/T 21911-2008);
  • Determination of carbofuran residues in strawberries using GPC-GC/MS.
