When you operate ion chromatograph or mass spectrometry detection, you find some impurity peak issues, maybe because it’s caused by the test matter or the sensitivity.
It’s quietly probably cased by the sample vial. In this situation, we need use some specials to solve this issue.
The ordinary chromatography is used to detect the organic, but we may detect some sodium ions or calcium ions in the ion chromatograph. These kind of ions exist in the glass material that is the sample vial we use often.
Therefore, we recommend to use plastic sample vials in the ion chromatograph, because we can exclude the interference of the glass ion and eliminate impurity peaks. But if the glass vials are necessary in your experiment, what can you do now? So what about our Welch medium borosilicate vials? Compared with the low borosilicate vials, the medium borosilicate has more advantages in the ion chromatography.

If you compare with the ordinary liquid chromatography and find there are still some impurity peaks in the mass spectrometry detection, it’s also caused by the high sensitivity.
