QuEChERS (pronounced “catchers”) stands for Quick, Easy, Cheap, Effective, Rugged and Safe–the qualities that describe this sample preparation method for food substances .The technique is very simple, involves a minimum of steps, and is effective for the cleanup of complex samples.
QuEChERS
QuEChERS is an upgraded version of SPE. They have a similar function, but the preparation method of QuEChERS is much easier. With QuEChERS, you could prepare your samples in multi-class, multi-residue pesticide analysis while saving time and money. In the United States, the Association of Official Analytical Chemists (AOAC) has published its 2007 .01 Method while the European equivalent, the EN 15662 2007, uses similar methodology.
Welchrom QuEChERS are composed of extraction kits and clean up tubes. The existing products are based on classic AOAC, EN and Original method and customized according to the methods provided by customers. They are suitable for the rapid detection of pesticide residue and process pollutants in fruits, vegetables, cereals, Chinese medicine, animal products and other foods with different characteristics.
