1.Non-polar Effect

Considering factors:

Low molecular weight of the target compound (<250) or weak non-polar substance

Optional packing type:

C2, C8, C18.

Considering factors:

The target compound is high molecular weight (> 250) or strong non-polar substance.

Optional packing type:

C2, C4, C6, C8, pH.

Considering factors:

A variety of neutral target compounds have different poles.

Optional packing type:

C4, C6, C8, CH, superposition (such as C2 / C18).

2.Polar effect

Considering factors:

Target compounds are polar.

Optional packing type:

Alumina, diatomaceous earth, Si, NH2, CN, diol.

The target compound is non-polar or moderate polarity.

3.Cation exchange

Considering factors:

The target compound is permanently with positive charge (eg quaternary ammonium).

CBA, Si, C21.

Considering factors:

The target compound PKA range is 5 ~ 10.

SCX, PRS2, CBA, C21.

4.Anion exchange

Considering factors:

The target compound is permanently with negative charge.

Target compound PKA range 2 to 6.

Optional packing type:

SAX, NH2.

  1. Target compound PKA range 2 ~ 6;

2. There is alkaline, acidic and neutral target compound;

3. The sample matrix is dirty, requiring a very clean extract.

P-SAX.


Note

Second extraction mode

  1. Since C2 has a silicon hydroxyl group, it is used here as a cation exchange agent.

2. PRS can be used to replace SCX to reduce the hydrophobic force as the second force force. PRS can elute using a buffer and liquid containing an organic solvent. This can only be used with no ion-acting interference
