There are many basic types of sample vials, different types of vial mouths, different colors, bodies, etc., which can meet different usage needs. Most of the vials we use are made of glass. Glass vials can be used in many scenarios. However, if the experimental sample will react with silicon, or when ion chromatography is used, conventional glass vials cannot be used. In this case, we can choose plastic vials.

Plastic vials are basically made of PP. This material has the characteristics of non-toxic, tasteless, low density, strength, stiffness, hardness and heat resistance, and can be used at about 100℃ environment. It has good dielectric properties and high frequency insulation and is not affected by humidity, and can withstand strong acids and alkalis, and is extremely difficult to be corroded. So it is very suitable for making sample vials. At the same time, in order to adapt to the small amount of samples, plastic sample vials also have corresponding derivatives – plastic insert tubes: the inside is a plastic sample vial in the shape of an insert tube. Plastic sample vials are the same as glass vials in use, they have the same shape and specifications, and use the same specifications of caps.

Welch Materials has a wide variety of sample vials products, whether it is plastic or glass, as well as their supporting products and derivative products, which are showed in the following table. You are very welcome to buy.
